Blog Post Using the voice and visual style of a brand of my choice, I wrote a satirical blog post about Rob Ford and his history has Toronto's mayor. SMART Objectives and Consumer Persona Our first assignment in this course was to identify a brand to embody and speak to their unique Brand Voice. We then created SMART Objectives and a Consumer Persona toward whom we would be making content. SMART Objectives & Consumer Persona TikTok Video Bringing The Beaverton's Brand Voice to TikTok meant capturing the power of a satirical article title and turning it into a story that a viewer wanted to follow through a short video. I chose to discuss the potential American TikTok ban which had just been announced, and endeavoured to tell an amusing an absurdist story of Justin Trudeau and the TikTok brand.

I love reading fiction books that teach or reinforce socially significant ideas, and sharing how they can be applied to the world around us. Hello! Welcome to all things Zach. An avid reader of contemporary fiction, I love stories in all forms and am always hoping to be inspired by novel ideas and fresh perspectives on the world. I identify as queer and neurodivergent (with ADHD) and intend to pursue a career in social advocacy where I can promote and inspire discourse with voices who deserve to be heard. I strongly believe that education and empathy are the keys to a better world. I am currently a student in the Professional Writing and Communications graduate certificate program at Humber College, having earned my Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, History, and Religion at the University of Toronto in 2021. I work as an English and Math Tutor and have experience in the retail and food service industries. I bring a dedicated and inspired attitude to work that I am passionate about. Where possible I enjoy taking a creative approach, exploring different angles and ideas when completing a task. In team contexts I take pride in encouraging colleagues to add their unique perspectives to projects or discussions, and to work to their strengths. I would be happy to discuss any literature recommendations, important causes, or career opportunities. Feel free to reach out with a message!
